Sports Clubs at Beckenham Sports Club

Beckenham Sports Club are one of the leading sports clubs in the area, offering a wide range of sports including cricket, tennis, hockey, running, squash, football and cycling. They’re also home to the following clubs:

Beckenham Cricket Club have both men’s and womens’ teams, plus also have teams and activities for children of various ages, including summer cricket camps. They’re a great, social way to get into cricket.

Beckenham Lawn Tennis Club make use of Beckenham Sports Club’s impressive 16 tennis courts, including grass, clay and acrylic. They’re a highly social club featuring no joining fee and discounts for the first year and for couples. Tennis is an incredible way to stay fit and they have groups and matches for adults and children alike as well as professional PTA coaching.

Brombecks Hockey Club also features teams for men, women and children and are another highly social club, competing at a very high level in UK hockey. They have around 40 different teams catering for all levels, including under-6s, and also have hockey summer camps.

Beckenham Running Club hold training sessions on Monday nights and meet up for social runs and parkruns including exploring through woods and fields. They compete in races from 5k to marathon and have various competitions, with prizes awarded at their annual Christmas meal. There are also social events throughout the year, including trips both abroad and in the UK.

Beckenham Squash and Racketball makes use of the club’s 4 squash courts and has internal leagues and tournaments, runs three senior teams, and has one of the largest junior squash programmes in the country. They have produced a number of county and national champions in recent years.

The Veterans Football Club is open to anyone over 35 and incorporates a number of veterans teams including Catford Exiles Veterans and Orpington Vets

Foxgrove Cycling Club offer a friendly atmosphere, mixed ability group rides and socials, offering to provide a friendly, empowering approach to cycling.
